Someone Needs to Explain to McCain

Who cares?!? He was a great President, who did or tried to do everything I elected him to do. His sexual conduct or misconduct does not interest me. It may be interesting, but it's not relevant.

Do you feel the same way about Palin's personal life?

Her personal life goes to her qualifications. Clinton's didn't.

I couldn't disagree more. He had sex with a 21 year old girl in the Oval office.

With her consent.

I guess that makes it okay. I'm sure that made Chelsea Clinton feel better about the whole situation.

Although I feel sorry for Chelsea and Hillary, I would consider the Lewinsky affair as personal except for what it did to the rest of his presidency. By that measure, I think it was a supremely irresponsible thing for him to do.

Although I also blame the Republicans who jumped on it (including JM's buddy Lindsay), it was so obvious that they would do so that Bill must have known what the risk was.

None of it has anything to do with his significant accomplishments as a statesman.

He's running against 8 years of Bush, a pathetic sad sack like McCain, a freak show like Palin, and then gets the gift of a financial crisis on the eve of the election. The dude couldn't have it any more made if Giada de Laurentis showed up at his condo with some chicken marsala, a bottle of liquor, and a peek-a-boo nighty.

Funny!! (And true!!)

don't ever overestimate the intelligence of the american people.

Thank you. Although when I wrote it I did not realize that Chuck Berry is not dead. My bad.

I don't care about Palin and her disfunctional family. Clinton's affair was personal, painful enough to his family not to mention national humiliation of a sitting president.

The hypocrisy of it all is the number of Republican congressmen having their own little sex kitten on the side, jumping into the fray of humiliating Clinton. There was a neglige shop on Pennsylvania Avenue near where the politicians work & dine. I read an article in which the shop owner said that politicians came in monthly and bought $1000 worth of stuff. I'm betting this stuff is not for their wives.

This is hypocrisy.

Obama will win, America will lose, more of the same. Change? Only what's left in my pocket. Hope? All we have left in the face of Obama/Biden. 'Nuff said.

Oh, by the way, revisionists...Clinton wasn't impeached for screwing Monica, and soiling the Oval office (as well as a particular dress). He was impeached for LYING UNDER OATH about screwing Monica, and soiling the Oval office (as well as a particular dress)! God, you people are stupid.
