Yoga Pants

Poor OP. do you already regret your question? My count had 12 suggested brands for you to choose from. Can you tell us a price range? If money is no object, then we might say to buy he $70 lululemons, but if it is, then the $40 Nike, $30 VS, or $20 Costco might be best. As you know though, you get what ya pay for. If you are hardcore on yoga, and do it all the time, then maybe you should splurge for the best. If you are not so much, and you slip yoga pants on once per week, then maybe $30 is plenty to spend.

Lucy. I've had mine for years and they show no signs of wear. Put them on 2-3 times per week.
I've heard great things about lululemon but haven't tried those yet since there isn't a store near me and I'd rather try on first.

Spanx workout pants are extremely compressive! The lucy or lululemon brands' compression seem much more comfortable.

I just got two pairs of classic black yoga pants by solow & Hard Tail from amazon.

OP here: I definitely don't want to spend $70 for a pair of yoga pants. I'd like to get 2 pairs and alternate between them. I go to the gym 5-6 times a week and usually wear yoga pants to the gym. Right now I have two pairs of cheap Old Navy ones that were probably $12 when I got them but they literally hang off of me now after multiple washes and are starting to fade/look ratty now. I'd be okay spending $30-$40 each for one-two good pairs that will last a while!

another vote for lucy. i've worn the same pair once or twice a week for more than two years and they still look new and feel really comfy.

I don't get why people think that $70 cotton pants are "better quality" than $30 cotton pants. They all came from the same factory in China.

I bought 2 pairs from Lucy several years ago and I wear them all the time. They are great.

FYI- Lulu pants are $100, not $70

Buy Lucy on sale. I used to think there was no reason to spend that much until trying them on and seeing myself in the mirror. Nice! They improve figure and support well.

I don't know. I need a size 14 for my butt but a size 10 for length.

They may or may not be, that's true. I do agree that my Old Navy ones look really crappy now, but my Nike ones have gone through a lot and still look good.

I'm told Lululemon stores provide free hemming.

I just bought some nice fitted yoga pants at Target $27 and they come in 3 lengths and a bunch of different fits (fitted, semi-fitted, boot cut, straight leg) I would do Target over the expensive places.

Lululemon. $$$$ but the fit is amazing. I only have one pair and I save them for days I don't want to work out bc they feel / look so awesome.

Have you considered Sweaty Betty? I haven't tried them yet (has anyone on here?), but they look fantastic. Tempted to buy their yoga pants...
