A big myth. Real estate disclosures are controlled by state law. Most states do not require disclosure of somebody dying in the house. A few states have some minor exceptions, like if the house was the cause of the death - e.g. Somebody fell off a dangerous balcony. |
I am so happy you gave an example, becuae I was envisioning a house pulling its "arms" (whatever they might be) out of the ground and grabbing the owner, smacking him/her around a few dozen times, and then leaving him/her dead on the ground. Man, it HAS been a long day... ![]() |

That depends on the state. In Maryland, you don't have to disclose that as it is not a material fact. |
So a two year-old lives in this house and little things are disappearing from time to time? Haunted, definitely. |
Exactly. Your ghost is probably very short. Made sure to put everything high enough and you'll be fine. |
Ask you priest or Rabbi to come bless the house. THat is what my Catholic friend did. It worked. |
This is shocking: there are adults walking around in our midst who think that a realtor must DiSCLOSE that a house is HAUNTED. My mouth hangs open. |
Or Imam, or... |

I had a coworker who knew people whose house had a ghost. They gave it a name, something like Henry.
Lights or the TV would randomly turn off, and they'd say, "Henry, turn the TV back on." And the TV would turn back on. |
You sound like a person who's never misplaced anything before or had a hang up call. I'm jealous. |
