Best doughnuts, by far, are at the Kosher Pastry Oven in Silver Spring.

This, but I'd skip the sour cream. Icky stuff.

If you want to add a substantial protein, go with the brisket.

Finally able to get there yesterday. Good rec. They were delicious. Just make sure to order ahead. They are swamped.

Do not skip the sour cream! Many of us do not like applesauce and hate to eat latkes plain. Just buy a container and put it on the table.
