Really? How about you hold the superintendent and school system responsible for appropriate capacity planning. MCPS brags that it does a great job on planning and that overcapacity isn't a problem. This is far, far from the truth. Starr thinks you can tack on trailers and more trailers and forgets that increasing the overall numbers means 6 year olds eat lunch 5 hours later than they arrive. Some schools have kids eating at 2pm which is ridiculous but this is OK with MCPS. When MCPS releases a press statement about facilities delays saying it will have no impact they are not being truthful, call them on it. |
