If you have EXTREMELY reactive sensitive skin

Laroche-Posay Toleriane products. Dermalogica UltraCalming products and Barrier Repair. Dermalogica Supersensitive Shield SPF 30.

I use baby soap to wash with. Shea butter is good for moisturizing.

OP here: there are soapless cleanses, Dove has one of them (but I react to it sometimes too), then Avene has expensive but good cleanser.
The eyeliner that I did not react to was this one http://www.sephora.com/script-precision-liquid-liner-P285616?skuId=1323344

Oh, and of course thank you everyone for sharing. I am also interested to hear the names of doctors and cosmetologists in the area who'd work with my skin.

A dermatologist gave me a sample of Nutraderm (http://www.amazon.com/Nutraderm-Therapeutic-Lotion-Original-Formula/dp/B0000Y3LKM) 15 years ago and it remains the only moisturizer I can use daily without angering my face. I'm not sure why this one works for me, since it's not like its ingredient list is all that short or clean, but it does. It's very, very light in feel.
Can't help on the sunscreen. Every year I swear I am going to find something I can wear daily, I try a bunch of new ones, I think I've finally found my match... and after a few weeks my entire face freaks out.

Hi,
it's OP of the thread. I thought if anyone found this useful, I'd throw in my latest find Hydrating B5 Gel Advanced - it is wonderful so far. Still looking for a sunscreen recommendations.

I use la rochey posay (skincare formulated for all kinds of SUPER sensitive skin). In the mornings I am always fine. In the evening, however, one night I am fine, the next my face will freak out - flushing, itchy, sometimes even blister-like things will pop up all over (especially around the eyes...almost burn-like looking), and the area around chin and upper neck gets particularly crazy itchy. I am SO tired of trying to figure out what I might be allergic to or what it is, what causes it. There is no pattern to it, that's what makes it so frustrating. PLEASE somebody help me if you can!

Stop wearing makeup
Wash face with water only most days. Use cetaphil cleanser once every three days.
Use cetapjil moisturizer on body
If you don't dry your face out with soap, you can prob skip lotion

I became allergic to LRP at some point. Try Avene, (not AvenO), I successfully used it on my reactive skin before getting allergic to it as well.

Thank you so much! I definitely will give it a try!

To the person who responded to my LRP and suggested Avene: do you suggest I get the products for Rosacea (since I have extreme redness after I wash my face) or just Hypersensitivity? Thanks so much!

Anonymous wrote:If seems I can't use anything besides petroleum jelly lately. Anything else causes eczema. I can't even put any make up on... , can't use any sunscreen. It's so annoying. I know I am allergic to aloe, but can't figure the rest out, the funny thing - the contact allergy test at the dermatologist came back negative. If you suffer from this like me, please share your resources: names of doctors, make up, lotions, sunscreens. Thank you!

I swear by Vanicream cleanser and moisturizer. I have rosacea and crazy skin. The rosacea has been helped by Oracea oral and Finacea topical. When I went on vacation for a week without using any of the above, my face became a mess. It took about a week to get it back to baseline once I was back home.

I think the hypersensitive line is new. I used this lotion http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002D48QVQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?qid=1395783679&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70
And they had a great mask that I used as a lotion in winter.
If you can, try finding their samples first - they come in mini bottles, this way you won't waste money if you get a reaction.

THANK YOU! I will definitely try the products and let you know the result. I am praying it will work. I am so tired of dealing with this...I am seriously beginning to think that I might be allergic to water! LOL
