do you run before sunrise?

I'm bad. I wear ear buds and run from 5-6AM so it is pitch dark. I wear reflective clothes and run with a headlamp on, on the streets. I also take my dog. I'm very very careful when crossing streets.

Actually you're not very careful when you cross the street. Wearing earbuds is just plain stupid. Do you have children? If so, please stop wearing them for their sake.

You have no idea what her neighborhood is like. Seeing cars is easy in the pitch black. You are being dramatic

Run before sunrise almost daily. I always run on well lit streets and wear reflective gear head to toe. I live in a very safe neighborhood. I NEVER, EVER wear earbuds when running outside. This is incredibly dangerous as you miss signals from others (cars, bikes, other runners) AND you are an easy target for anyone wanting to do you harm.

Ditto - sun is always coming up as I get home and I'm female. No earbuds. I actually prefer running at dawn vs. dusk as far as safety. I live in NW DC. No trails - just roads.
