Does anyone give only homemade gifts without cash (or a gift card)? This is our first year in preschool, and we're only there two mornings a week. I was going to have DD give her teachers some of whatever we end up making for our friends in the neighborhood.

I taught preschool p/t, and I received plenty of homemade gifts. Honestly, I was grateful for all the gifts I received, big or small.

Room gift. Our preschool ("room parent") sends out an email asking for contributions for a giftcard for each teacher (5 of them). I just give $50. Last year each teacher received and $200 giftcard from Macys.
