Is it just a sign of the times? Kind of like young able bodies men sitting on the metro while women stand?

Daycares suck or we as humanity suck suck sucky.

Open the door yourself. They did. You can too. So entitled.

You are joking right. I hold the door for people. I would never let the door close in the face of anybody let alone a person with their hands full. God I hope you are joking.

I am so glad that we use a daycare with courteous staff and parents. The parents all look out for each other. Many of us recognize the other kids even if we don't recognize the parents and people hold doors for each other, lend a helping hand and actually stop our personal reveries to say hello and chat. The kids love it there and so do the parents. The openings come very slowly and fill very quickly when they come up.

So you let in strangers that you don't recognize...into a daycare full of kids.

Yes. When it is the same people day after day. Yes, I hold the door for strangers. I also let people in front of me on highways. I tend to let people cross at crosswalks even without lights.

Agree that you may be in the wrong place, but after reading that you think men should give up their seats to women on the Metro, maybe the problem is your expectations are out of line with reality, which means you won't be happy anywhere.

Really. Luckily I have encounter other women that feel the same. Like the elderly lady on my train with the cane who loudly asked the young man- are you disabled? OR the other woman who stepped over a man so that the clearly pregnant woman could have her seat.

PP, I hope you are not raising boys because with your attitude they will remain boys and never be men.

You did not say elderly or pregnant woman. You said that men should give up their seats to women.

I stand corrected. Gentlemen
