weekend guests - food ideas?

Thanks all! OP here. I did Italian one night (lasagna, meatballs, garlic bread and salad), and a taco bar the other night. Both were a success - the Italian a little more so, probably b/c we could turn the leftovers into meatball subs for lunch the next day. Both nights worked for the kids and adults, and vegetarians and meat eaters. Lots of great ideas here - thanks again.
