Anyone out there who just can't believe how old they are?

I was just saying to my husband, how did I get to be 50? I was 30 just the other day. I still cannot get used to looking in the mirror and seeing middle age. I still think of myself as young and am surprised to be treated as old all of a sudden. At doctor's appointments I am now asked whether I still have periods (yes), and when I recently had a sports related injury, the doctor told me about the prognosis for women "my age." I so enjoyed my 30s being active with my young children and I can't help looking enviously at young moms who are still in the midst of that, and look great, to boot. Sigh ......
