Doing a backsplash in tile is a pretty easy DIY project. I've done it and plan to do it again (changed look of kitchen). For our bathroom we used Home Depot subway tile which is about $2 a square foot and some accent tile which was $6/square foot. So you can do stuff that is not expensive.
Read a book on tiling and get the video out of the library. |
