I like it. It intrigued me, and I don't even like country music. But I really liked the song Connie Britton sang with the dude that the blonde bimbo's trying to steal away. I think I will be a devotee.

Also, as another Nashvillian, I'd say only a portion of the country music folk in town are from Middle Tennessee, so the accents are sort of varied.

I like some of the name-checking of Tootsie's and the Bluebird. I hope they'll do more of that.

Who is the young girl? Hayden Pansomething? I didn't like her - her hair was too big for her small face, and I don't know where she's from but her accent didn't seem right - maybe she was uncomfortable with it.

I agree with you, PP. Hayden seems uncomfortable taking in a southern accent, regardless of where her character is supposed to be from. Fortunately, she did go over the top and sound like a yokel. I cringe when actors do that.

I'm just starting to watch it-what's the deal with Scarlett's character? I'm trying to figure out how that whole subplot fits in. I missed the first couple episodes so I'm trying to fill in. Thanks.

I find Scarlett the most annoying character, not only in personality but in voice. She has the bad boy boyfriend and is admired from afar by her co-worker who eventually co-writes songs with her.
