Who should I vote for?

Whom should I vote for.

Actually, it should be "For whom should I vote?"

If you think you have the right to decide whether to have another kid, you need to vote for Obama.

Gooogle "Totally wrong" and check out the image results.

Mitt at some fund raiser announced he did not care about 47% of the population. 47!!!!!!

Your HHi places you in that lower 1/2. Especially, in these parts.
But the fact that a presidential candidate would dismiss any part of the US population is schocking.
47% that is embarrassing or enitled.

Where in Virginia is the median HHI higher than $180-$200k?
http://www.census.gov/did/www/saipe/data/statecounty/data/2010.html

The census puts the median (1/2 above, 1/2 below) for 2010 at $60,665 for the Virginia, $93,231 for Arlington (#9 in the USA), $102,726 for Fairfax (#4 in the USA) and $119,075 for Loudoun (#1 in the USA).

The OP is comfortably in the the upper half of household incomes in the richest county in the country.

I was going to vote for Obama. I am voting for Romney unless he plans to draft my children. Why this dramatic change? Information I learned this morning.

Medicaid and Obamacare. Provisions in medicaid have resulted in states becoming more aggressive to the point of enforcing or enacting filial responsibility laws.

Anyone could be on the hook for parents, adult children, siblings.

Please provide a link to your information.

Under Romney my concern would be that he practically will eliminate any social nets we still have, thus increasing poverty and desperation for many, and thus crime. If you are concerned about being on the hook for parents, siblings now, what will happen, if their situation turns desperate ?

It's not just paying for "Mom" but others as well. Obama shifted social nets and this does impact the middle class.

1. That article makes no connection between those laws and Obamacare.

2. If enforced, I could see a law like this being overturned by a court.

I don't think you were going to vote for Obama if you're making ingenuous points like this.

OP, you are wealthy. Going forward, if you expect to have a substantial estate to pass on to your kids or have significant unearned income (capital gains, interest, dividends), then you clearly must support Romney.
