Yup. Everything the people who are saying about the huge time commitment and expense of dogs is true. Any vacation you take for the next 14 yers will be a house rental (if you don't already have a vacation home) or you will have to stay in "dog friendly" hotels or inns. I have only been in this for a year and I am already panicking about Xmas week ski trip lodgings.
