Metro must use accept Israel ads

Those anti-God posters just prove my point that atheists are fundamentalists, too. Identical mentality.

I think what you mean to say is that there are atheist fundamentalists too. That I would grant, but your statement lumps us all together, and we vary from some who are indeed extreme to some who don't talk about it much, go to church with the family to keep the spouse happy. Generally we would perfectly happy to live and let live.

BTW, which posters are you talking about. I Googled and found a Christmas-themed ad that said "No GOD? NO PROBLEM. Be good for goodness sake." It does not even state that there is no God, but just raises the hypothesis. And if "Be good for goodness sake" is extreme, we have been bombarding our children with that extremism for the better part of a century in "Santa Claus is coming to town."

Yes, I read that as saying it's okay to be an atheist, not that believing in God is bad.

Right, all the photos on the previous page just include variations of "it's okay not to believe in God". That is EXACTLY THE SAME as saying that anyone who does not support Israel is a savage. Not.

A facist custom. Political slogans.
Reminds me of Stalins Russia or the red China.
Time to grow up. Maybe the metro should ban all adverts

Did you mean to post to this thread?

Won't even justify that by clicking. And if I'd meant to post somewhere else, I would have. I'm perfectly capable of understanding which thread I post to. Your mock helpfulness is tiresome.

You won't justify the question by clicking? LOL. Are you a strange teenager trying to pretend to be an angry adult? The link is to another similar thread going on in the Off Topic forum. And that last post referred to the atheist ads.

It's hard to take you seriously. If you can't even spell fascism, how likely is it that you know much about the history of political slogans?

What are your views about Israel? You say you do not support Israel. What do you mean?

Where did I say that I didn't support Israel?

This is problem#1 with conservative logic on Israel (problem #2 is that they don't actually like Jews except for their conflict with muslim countries).

You think that criticism of Israel means someone is Israel's enemy. You should spend a week listening to what Israelis say about their leaders, their government, their policies. Let me tell you that country is the international capital of criticism. It could be their national sport.

If Israel is to succeed, it has to change. Everyone knows it, even the Israelis. The future is clear: muslims in Palestine will be the dominant group. At some point the balance tips and Israel can no longer be a Jewish state without looking like South Africa.

Who is the savage? When I hear that word I think of the previous century when there still was a slave trade, the black got to be savage and the English were lords of the slave trade, as well as the civilized man who were under an obligation to spread English civilization and the empire.
If they had wanted to be taken seriously, maybe they would have used some other word. Right now I am feeling more sympathy to the muslims and their cause

This is 100% true. American Jews are much more monolithic in their support of Israel than Israeli Jews are. It is a difference that is initially shocking when you visit Israel as an American. The candor and criticism that you hear at any random gathering--at first I thought I was being goaded to say something negative about Netanyahu only to be shot down--but it was not the case. At parties and all gatherings there is an incredibly open debate of politics.

Tutu is a big critic of Isreal.
A delegation of South Africans went there to try and get the people to talk to each other and found that what was possible in South Africa cannot even begin in Israel. The segregation is extreme
