The reason why Romney is winning is because what he is saying resonates with the American people. Obama had four years and it sounds like he is running against an incumbent.

I'm voting for Obama and think the tea party has driven folks that might have otherwise been reasonable like the MA-style verison of Romney....but I think Romney's doing better. Part of that though is because I think he's in real time ditching many of his proposals or fleshing them out in new ways that change the proposals a lot, without any chance to actually analyze those details.
