Totally agree with this. I don't know if I don't buy what they have on sale, but every time I go there I feel like I spend about $20 more than I would at Safeway. I do agree that they are friendly and have good customer service and the store is bright and clean. However, the Safeway near me (Cherrydale in Arlington) is also nice and I think their sales are better. I agree that Giant has pretty bad produce, but their sales are good. I have been shopping at Trader Joes more and more. They seem to be offering a lot more options there as far as meat and produce, too, so I can get most of my shopping done in one trip without going to another store. |

| I went to the HT in Adams Morgan when it first opened and was less than impressed- hardly any organic stuff and the stuff that was was expensive. First and last time there. |

It is clean, has a good produce section, friendly employees, and they help you out to your car every time. They remember DS and talk to him every time we come in.
I like Whole Foods, but it is much more expensive, and I can't get everything there. |
