Georgetown Hill Early School- NRC location

We too hav ebeen happy at the NRC location- and in our 2.5 years have seen little teacher turnover- one or two teachers leave each year. Doesn't seem odd with a staff of 25-30. Director- not great but daily care of my kid is WONDERFUL. Great location and very reasonably priced.

If you have had your child in infant care at the NRC, are you an NRC employee or a fed employee? How hard is it to get into the infant room?

Fed employee, 3 years ago, waited about 6 months and several spots opened up at once. Calls made to several on the wait list and whomever said "yes" first got the spots. That's how it went back then, anyway.

We are federal also- at least my husband is. We waited about 6- months before we got in to the older two's room....but apparently the wait for the infant room is 1.5-2 years. We have been happy(more importantly our kid is happy) for the past 3 years at the NRC. Good luck

I am interested to hear about the Pre-K program. We are thinking about sending our 4 year old son there since he will miss the cut-off date to enter Kindergarten next year. Is the program challenging? How are the teachers?

We are thinking about sending our 4 year old son there for their preschool program. I'd love to hear from current parents. Is the program a good preparation for Kindergarten? Is there ample learning AND outside time? Do all of the teachers have a degree in education? TIA!
