| I think he was referring to how many liberals (not all), have this elitist view of themselves. Their mentality is that they have the power to tell you how to live your life. Or rather, the government has that power. So I think he was just making fun of that. I don't think he really believes that they are really that smart, only that THEY believe they are smart. Not saying that I agree with him. I'm just saying I think that's where he was going with that comment. For the record, I have many liberal friends who do NOT have this elitist mentality. But I think it's starting to turn into a stereotype with democrats. |
