What do you get out of Back to School Night?

Some kids come, but it will likely be crowded and they will be bored, so if you can leave them at home, all the better. I usually go and leave my husband at home with the kids. Since both of us going would mean that we would have to bring our sweet and loving, yet very active, three year old too, I just go and take notes for him.

My child has been in 2 different FCPS schools and both were parents only. I'd check with your school.

Made me laugh pretty hard. I seem to re-learn that lesson every year. (It's always a different kind of crazy, but there's somebody wackadoodle there every year.)
