so what?
George W Bush was a drunk, deadbeat loser and the morons in this country elected him President twice. |
You mean FORMER drunk deadbeat. You got me on loser though. |
Former drunks and deadbeats are the best among us. Bush is a great man. He is a class act who knows God and is comfortable with who he is. He truely couldn't care less what anybody thinks of him and never lashes out. Amazing. |
And a drug user. Did you know that when Bush I was president, his son George W was snorting coke in the white house. He subsequently found religion and the nut wings forgave him and the supreme court made him president. |
Hahahahahhaahahahah! Thanks for the laugh, the coming thunderstorms were stressing me out and I really needed to lighten up. |
Superstitious. Another mark against him. |
I wonder what Pawlenty would do it asked about the first job comment in front of Obama. Would he wimp out again like he did about Obamneycare? His snark attacks look so much less assured than Palin's that I'm surprised his friends have not pulled an intervention. |
I guess he couldn't ask Daddy for a loan to start a biz |
?
Obamas father went to harvard. He already had a wife and kids when he met Obamas mother. She was about 18 when she got pregnant. He could not marry her. He was not deadbeat. Obamas mother chose to forget about him and not follow him to his home country Kenia where he had to go back to. He was very brilliant, that is how he got his scholarship to go to harvard. It is unfortunate that he became disillusioned with the corruption that happens in a third world african country. But such is life |
Good synopsis, but Obama's father was married to Obama's mother. |
Yeah, anyone who's read Obama's memoirs knows that. It's not exactly top secret. ![]() |
+1 Not to mention how irrelevant this is, since he didn't have any influence on the President, who didn't even grow up with his father |
Was he very brilliant or from a family that had enough money and connections to make it happen? Or was he the token guy? |
I view the initial post of this thread as unnecessary and irrelevant to anything going on in the world, but I also think his dad's absence has influenced President Obama desire to have a meaningful presence in his daughters' lives. He seems to be a very caring dad who has great relationships with his daughters. |
Stories on absent fathers of Presidents. Apparently it is not that uncommon in Presidents.
