One year anniversary - Solyndra went bankrupt and left American taxpayers to pick up the bill.

All these "little pieces" weave an unsettling bigger story

Exactly. China put a ton of money into the market and we let them win because we aren't willing to do the same. They are probably laughing at us for bailing on the whole sector after one investment.

Ah, Solyndra again. I guess the GOP flackmachine has had to shelve -- for a few days -- the lie that Obama has eliminated the work requirement for welfare, after Clinton called them out on it.

C'mon, Mitt. That dog won't hunt.... pehaps beccuase it's tied on the roof!

You do realize that the loan guarantee program was meant to fund hugh risk ventures with the potential for big payoff, right?

The program has cost taxpayers less than what was budgeted.

Solyndra is the ultimate symbol of President Obama's failed attempts to pick winners and losers in the free market.

Well, since you say Solyndra is the worse thing Obama has ever done, I'm pretty sure I'm ok with that. Shit happens. In the great scheme of things, that money was a tea in a salted sea.

If your complaint is the selection of winners and losers, well, gee, they all do that. The previous administration selected another energy industry (big oil). So, what's your complaint -- that he tried to choose winners, or that he bet on the wrong horse?

As far as mistakes go, it probably cost less than the Republican attack ads about it.

How come no one talks about all of the Republican support for Solyndra?

What, you mean the fact that Obama signed off on a loan guarantee that the Bush administration had been shepherding through the process?

Obama's Socialist mind-control made them do it. OBVIOUSLY.

Future Democrats have a time machine that we use to go back to convince Republicans to do our will. We use this power not to fix poor decisions, but to create excuses for bad ones. Since we are from the future, they listen to us of course.

BTW in the future, Christianity is gone and most of our population has by then converted to Bidenism. It is a very likable religion with humorous, if sometimes gaffe-prone sermons.

Solyndra: Never have so many complained so much about so little.

It's one bad investment. Move along.
