Asking day are to clean better/to clean myself

you need to remember not everyones cleaning standards are going to be the same. I am sure they are keeping up with the cleaning, just not to your standards. god forbid the parent who suffers from OCD.

I keep my daycare clean, doing my work after the kids have left for the day. I would be insulted if I had someone come in and tell me my cleaning standards were not up to par with theirs.

A little bit of dirt is good for the average kid, but for an allergic child, it may be a different story. Is your child exhibiting more symptoms at school? If so, you could try getting one of those whole room HEPA air filtering machines for the classroom. I think they are about $300.

I am the 13:07 pp. I have kids who are asthmatic and have multiple air borne allergies, and I had no problems with any of them being in my home. Unless the child is super sensitive, I dont see how a little dirt is going to hurt him. what are you going to do when he attends elementary school? god forbid I know they dont get every nook and cranny in our school systems

Why not ask for an allergen removal crew to clean the school? I am sure parents interested in chipping in would rather pay a but than clean an entire center. Aren't there cleaning companies specializing in allergen removal? Have the director look into hiring one. Explain how it benefits allergy sufferers.

What are you parents going to do when the kid attends elementary school? middle school? high school? You going to ask them to clean the school better? Get a grip people. there are ways for YOU to control your childs allergies without expecting someone else to go out of their way to accommodate you.

Calm down, day care lady. No one is criticizing YOUR cleaning. You have no idea what this day care looks like. I can't imagine being this defensive all the time is great for your business.

LOL I am not being defensive. I am merely stating a fact. What is going to happen when the child is in a situation where the cleanliness cannot be controlled? One needs to learn to acclimate themselves to it. I have had many children with allergies and asthma, and while I can clean, dust, vacuum, etc all day and night, it still will not remove every single particle.
