| There is a difference between getting together with a few kids you are already friendly with for play dates and the socialization that goes on in a classroom setting. I think it can be extremely beneficial. It's also good for kids to get interaction with other adults away from their parents. You can get some really valuable insight for your child's teacher, because they are observing your child in a different setting from what you see. As others have pointed out, you don't need to do 5 days a week, full day if you don't need/want to, but preschool offers many great benefits. |
