Do you know what documents Issa is requesting? Do you know how many documents Holder has provided already? Issa is not conducting an investigation. He been provided with thousands of documents. He is not even asking for specific documents, but "categories of documents". Issa's demand is so broad that he is obviously a fishing expedition. He is not acting in good faith. Holder has attempted to reach a compromise, but Issa is not interested.

You obviously think that there is nothing secret or sensitive about Justice Department documents. Yet, law enforcement data is kept private all the time. But, how do you feel about discussions about energy policy. Certainly, conversations about energy policy are no more sensitive then internal Justice Department documents. Yet, Dick Cheney refused to turn over documents related to conversations about energy policy. He went so far as to claim he is not part of the Executive Branch. I don't remember right wingers being outraged about that.

This is all a bunch of crap. There is only one way to take down the gun buying networks in Mexico, and everyone knows it. An agent got killed because of some guns that went across the border during the investigation. Guess what, that agent was going to be shot by one gun or another. If you think the guns in this program are anything but a drop in the bucket, you are fooling yourself.

So now the politicians are ducking for cover because the public just can't understand how law enforcement involves taking risks.

Anyone who thinks otherwise, I'd love to hear how you think that gun running operations can be taken down.
