There is also South Mountain Creamery.

We bought half a cow from Hollin Farm in Delaplane. You pick it up near Winchester from the processor. You will need a freezer!

I do South Mountain Creamery's Delivery service for my Dairy/Eggs/Chicken

I do BULK buying from Polyface. I buy a side of beef from them every 18 months.

I do a combo of Polyface and My Organic Market (MOMs) which has local, grassfed meat.

Second the South Mountain Creamery. We have milk, eggs, chicken and beef delivered.

I've been out to their farm and gotten my turkeys from them for the past two years. Highly recommend.

I've used their home drop off service and they've been very reliable.

South Mountain Creamery delivers. They are much more reasonable. I love them.

I would like it to be organic, although that can just be in theory since I know a lot of local farms follow organic farming but don't have the distinction due to the cost involved in being labeled "organic."

Suggestions??

I'm looking for a store around here that might be able to wash my clothes. And if possible, iron them. Does anyone know of a place like this?

There are a lot of places that do this, most laundry-mats offer this service, so to many drycleaners. Open the phone book.

Another vote for South Mountain Creamery -- we get dairy and meats, I've been very happy with the quality, the delivery is reliable, and prices are reasonable (less that Whole Foods in many cases). Not officially labeled organic, but darned close and close enough for my comfort - no antibiotics, hormones or steroids, grass fed (though I think maybe not exclusively).

+ whatever number for South Mountain. They are great. We've never gotten anything we didn't like from them. One time the milk soured before the week was up and they took it off my bill and gave me a free milk the following week.
