Please recommend your child's lunch box, water bottle etc.

I use thermos futainers for my older DD starting in K, but the small sigg bottles for my 3 year old as she is still drinking milk and our futainers are too big They work better for the younger one and expect her to use them for at least another year. I have found the pottery barn lunch boxes held up better than Hannah Anderson.

I use the planetbox lunch box for my extremely picky three-year-old. It really helps her to eat!

Funtainers from Thermos for keeping food warm.

These are actually only for keeping food/drinks cold. Read the directions -- they specifically say not for hot foods.

You are mistaken. Funtainer food jars can be used for hot foods. I've been doing it for years, and these directions talk about how to heat them up with hot water to keep foods warmer longer.

My kids started using the Contigo bottles at 2.5 years old even though they suggest 3 years. If your child has motor problems they might not be the best choice.

Which model PB lunchbox is the one with the hard liner? I don't see any of them with this description.

It is the square ones (batman, spiderman, various patterns--McKensie?). When my ds slams/throws his lunchbox down, his yogurt cup doesn't bust open due to the hard sides, unlike his other lunchbox.

My DD also uses the PB square lunch box with their bento box inside. I bought both the bento box and the separate containers, but my DH (who packs lunches in the morning) prefers the bento box. I liked DDs so much I bought a PB teen lunch box and use the mix and match containers for myself. We put the "extra" snack into a reusable/washable pouch from container store. Love them!

We also use Kidecals on all of these items so they won't get lost or thrown out. They have lasted through many washings on the reusable pouches and many daily dishwasher runs for the bento box and containers. Oh, and we also send real kid's silverware so those have kidecals on them as well.

Sorry to be dense here, but I am going to order a PB Kids lunch bag now (have a gift card) but I too cannot figure out which ones have a hard inside. It's for preschool, so it doesn't need to be huge. Most of the mackenzie ones are girl patterns? Thanks.
