Need a breakfast snack idea for class party

Oatmeal with dried or ripe fruit, brown sugar, etc. There are some great 'overnight' recipes online with very different/fun ingredients!

but I have run across many in various blogs. This would be appealing to me since it requires little work the 'day of'.

I would not do rice krispy treats since it would get the kids all sugared up. I've also made an eggless oatmeal raisin cookie that is relatively low in sugar.

If you make them yourself, there are some recipes that don't have eggs or dairy, like these:

Obviously leave out the optional nuts.

There are also a number of recipes that substitute apple sauce for eggs to get the same consistency as ones with eggs. You can Google for "muffins without eggs" and find several recipes out there.

I like the idea of oatmeal. Cook some dried fruit in and/or serve it with fresh fruit and yogurt.
