Was going to suggest this. Pollakiuria is often misdiagnosed, but does happen more often in boys. We ran into this with my DS while on a family vacation, we ended up giving him the option of wearing a pull-up for the entire trip. Not as an alternative to going to the bathroom like normal, but just as a reassurance because he was going so often.

another +1 -- this happened to my daughter at exactly the same age. In her case, it was because a school transition was causing her anxiety. The issue resolved itself in a couple of weeks.

My boy at 5 year old went through like that for a few weeks ago, and went back to normal last week for a full week. Unfortunately, he went through the constant urge to urinate again this week......it is anxieties.
We took him to see doctor, no UTI or anything.
