And, OP, I get it and sympathize -- I banned my BIL from my wedding, not because he's an a**hat (though he is), but because he refused to attend any public event with my sister (his wife) which his girlfriend could not attend as well. Yes, you read that right. My sister and BIL's girlfriend even had the same first name and looked virtually identical to one another. My parents let all three of them crash for free in their trailer for YEARS. As someone wrote above, you just can't make this stuff up.

Years ago my bitch mother in law left a loaded handgun on the floor in her bedroom and my DS picked it up. That was enough for me to write her off. This comes after I find out that she let boyfriends abuse DH after she left FIL. I hope she dies a violent death in the near future. Anyone that willingly allows a person to abuse her son deserves to die.

I once watched my father barely restrain himself from attacking my sick little nephew for crying because he had a fever and felt miserable. This is the son of the daughter he actually likes.
