Who is watching Grey's Anatomy?

REmember this episode was written before contracts had been negotiated with many of the originals, whose contracts all ended this year. ABC announced last week that a bunch (all?) the originals (Meredith, Derek, Karev, Christina, Webber, and I think one or two more - Bailey?) had signed two year contracts. (so in narrowing down who would be the death, most people took the originals off the list of possibilities - I had initially been worried it was Webber).

So hence the cliffhanger ending. No one really knew who among the cast was coming back or not.

But now looks like everyone stuck out in the wild is probably going to be fine. At least I hope so.

I don't think this is the greatest show on TV or anything, and I think the death sucked, but overall I'm still enjoying Grey's.

Holy shit Scandal is a crazy show, though. Perhaps too over the top, but it was a wild ride over 7 episodes. I'll definitely be back for that show when it comes back.

I guess that Derek's injuries will end his surgical career and put it on hold enough so they don't go to Boston. Christina will stay since Teddy is leaving and Meredith is staying. Not sure what will happen with Karev...

I really enjoyed Scandal, too. I'm not sure how much longevity it can have since it is so intense all the time, but I'm enjoying it while it lasts.

I"m really wondering what Mark's storyline will be. It felt like he was a little back burner this past year, and now with his major interactions gone, just not sure what they can do with him. Which is a crying shame, as he could be an awesome character.

Like Karev, sometimes you just get the feeling Shonda doesn't know how to write great story arcs for the male characters.
