My parents did not, I encountered it in college when several roommates of mine would play it before going clubbing. I felt like it put them in a mindset to be exploited by guys, so I doubt I would let my kid in my house have that music. If I hear it even driving on the street I comment. My brother that works with teens over in North East says that kids use a lot of these lyrics to verbally attack each other. Would you want that music used against your daughter. I don't and wouldn't want my son using it either.

NO I listened to Biggie and 2Pac R Kelly . I remeber a song "do you mind if i stroke you up do mind if i stroke you down", 10 crack commandments, you know the slow jams. I wanna sex you up. Yes it made me curious about sex more.I'm so glad I do not give my kid the freedom my parents gave me. I give mine a lil more every year but we have limits. My kid likes alot of the 99.5 stuff anyways.

Not trying to be snarky but why do you feel that? How is it working with your kids?

Most of the time you'll hear parents wanting to give their children MORE freedom.

They let me go out to my friends and my boyfriends for sleepovers and never met my friends and believed what /i said that it was someone else. maybe i should make it they trusted me more than they should have. They would go out of the country for business and left a 15 yo and 12yo by ourselves. They left me a car so we could drive ourselves to the bus stop when i only had a permit but of course we drove it everywhere while they were gone for weeks. My sister was in 6th grade driving! now I'm just saying cuz we r getting off topic but still they gave us no boundaries.
