Bought at 7 mos pregnant with #1. All great suggestions above. I'd only add, if possible buy a house with a usable garage - one you can actually park in. We bought a 50's rambler with the tiniest most unusable garage. It's a pain to deal with heating up the car in cold weather before putting the baby in, or lugging the infant carrier / rushing your toddler through the rain.
Oh, and storage space. If you plan to have more kids you'll find yourself hanging onto baby gear, toys, clothes, etc. that takes up a ton.
