Random bruising on thighs, anything I can do about it?

Anonymous
My 6 yr old dd's legs are usually covered in bruises, both her shins and her thighs. I assumed it was bc she was active and clumsy. But she is a very picky eater, so it wouldnt totally surprise me if she was deficient in some vitamin or mineral. Should I take her to the dr?

I recently started having this happen and my cbc came back 100% fine. Is there another indicator of a problem, or can I assume I am OK if my cbc was fine??

I walk into the corner of our dinning room table on a regular basis. DH just looks at me and says "Oh, be careful...we just put that there...3 years ago..."

I have bruises on my thighs from running into our baby gates while trying to walk through them. I'm not concerned because I don't get bruises anywhere else that seem out of proportion to what happened.

Phentermine did this to my thighs. Google "phentermine bruising" and it will come up.

I'm very thin and 42 and my doc said the bruising on my legs was normal for a thin person. Just "pressure" bruises. So weird that I get them on my hips--from sleeping on my side??

Do you drink too much or take a lot fish oil? Both will thin your blood and can cause you to bruise easily. If I were you though I'd go to your dr. It can be a sign of some serious problem.

I found out I was a big mover in my sleep. If I had the bed on a wall side I'd roll (hard) into it, causing bruises. I got a bigger bed with post on all the corners still run into them in my sleep. I wake up with bruises on my legs, thighs, and arms. Just a really aggressive sleeper.

Go see a doctor. There are a lot of possibilities. A blood test should give you peace of mind.
