Water is a chemical. It's not that simple, unfortunately. Sulfur dioxide is actually an antioxidant but many asthma sufferers wheeze when exposed. I have never seen any studies showing adverse impacts on pregnancy when ingested (inhaled is a different story), but it is a food additive and you may want to avoid it. |
I'm going to sound ignorant, but why exactly is sulfur dioxide harmful during pregnancy? What are its effects? |
IMO, Talking in all caps is NOT the best way to get your point across. You come across as over-reacting and hysterical. Very High School. It is possible to simply state your opinion without seeming like a total whack-job.... |
I think that was her POINT, that people sound hysterical when they're worried about the ingredients in, for example, dried fruit. ![]() |
PP here and I apologize for the rolley-eyes. It was snarky and rude. OP, if it's not this, it will be something else. It can't hurt to find the dried fruit with nothing but fruit but please don't let this worry you. |
Um, perhaps you missed the sarcasm. |
OP i am allergic to sulfites so I have to eat dried fruit that is all natural. I think sulfites can cause diarerrha and others issues. |
LMAO...I did miss the sarcasm....chalk it up to pregnancy brain- thanks for setting me straight!.....hehehehehe |
