Chick fil a nugget tray, cupcakes

It depends.

Does the party run from 4pm-6pm? If so, I'd go with pizza about halfway through the party (unless it is a bounce place - trust me, do not do food until near the end).

If the party is 4pm to 5pm only, I think cake is fine.

I always expect pizza at any time of day. If you don't provide pizza, I will expect you chose that time because you're cheap and didn't want to serve a meal.

We did cupcakes, pizza and snacks for a mid afternoon party (1:30-4pm, pizza were offered at 3pm which I mentioned on evite ). I remembered one bday party I didn’t offer pizza and kids we invited were disappointed.

Adults don't need to eat between 2-3:30. Having drinks is totally fine.

Pizza and cake. Always.

I don’t care what you serve as long as you clear about it on the invite. If it’s just cake and juice, I’ll serve my kid a later hearty lunch that day. If it’s heavy food, I’ll have them eat an early light lunch.

Just give the info and we can handle it for our own kid.

And from your post, I expect that you are overweight.

The rule is, no matter the time of the party, the size of the party and location of the party, you order a damn pizza and cake.

You have to serve dinner at a party that late.
