How about Chantal as an alternative? Much classier, it's French and it has the benefit of being an actual name.

There's a Chenille in the Junie B. Jones books -- she's in Junie B.'s first grade class. Chenille has a twin sister with a normal name, which I cannot now remember.

This is a chenille bedspread. Very old fashioned. My grandma had one when I was little and I loved it.
