Most of the folks criticizing Barry wouldn't step foot in Ward 8. When you seek out volunteer opportunities (if you even volunteer), do you venture there or do you only look in your nice and tidy Spring Valley neighborhood? |
cut him and that part of the city but cutting welfare |
Translation please. |
Well I think what he said was inarticulate, but I happen to agree with what he was trying to say. Why are we, americans, continuing to provide these B-visa to recruit and hire foreigners to pack up and come work in our hospitals. The unemployment rate in Barry's community and many communities in America is abysmal. Why not, train and educate people right here in the good old USA to perform see jobs. |
Most of them are not trainable to reach an RN degree no matter how much money you throw at the problem. |
You probably did not mean it this way, and I am not accusing you of anything, but "Most of them are not trainable" has a very racist sound to it. And even if most of them were indeed not trainable, that still probably leaves quite a few who are. |
They might be more trainable if they left the attitude at home. |
You can't force people to become nurses. Most of them don't want to work. They want to live in their trailer parks and go clubbing while they're kids are locked up at home. |
I hope that in Barry's next, apparently frequent trip to the hospital or the detox center that he is treated by a few Filipina nurses. |
I agreed with him about his business comments, but not about this. |
Yeah, your vast understanding of trailer parks in ward 8 reveal the depth of your local knowledge. |
I am pretty sure this comment was made because of another thread in Off Topic. |
