I think the Secret Service applicant pool is a lot of ex-military or ex law enforcement + a taste for risk. I am shocked, shocked at the insinuation that such people would objectify women.

Sarah Palin is indeed poorly educated and incurious. WIth 5 colleges in 5 years and only half a term as governor, not to mention all of these career shifts, I also think she has ADD. Being elected Governor of Alaska is, on a population basis, akin to being elected Mayor of DC or Boston. That said, she doesn't deserve objectification any more than any other women, and loathed the way the press treated both her and Hillary.

Sarah Palin is a hell of a lot smarter than Hillary . Any young woman would want sarahs life over hillary ( they may not admit it but they all would in their heart) . Hillary was rejected by her own ( well respected) husband. Sarah knows how to live a fulfilling life of family , faith , purpose , activity, physical fitness , achievement and sex appeal. Hillary and the "smart - stupid" like her are on the wrong path.

Read in the WaPo this morning that the agent who called the partying agents on the carpet is an African-American woman who was newly promoted to the post. I have got to say that woman has gonads! I am sure there are a lot of guys in the "old boys" network who are going to try to make her life miserable. She is tough!

I am pretty good at admitting to myself my deepest darkest secrets. And I can tell you with 100% "in my heart of hearts" certainty that I would never, EVER prefer to be Sarah Palin over Hilary Clinton. SP strikes me as both mentally unstable and deeply unintelligent. She is one of those "fake it 'till you make it" types - may look good on the surface and get through the job interview, but heaven help us once the real thing shines through. She does have a good body, and a nicer face than many women her age, but she's not my type. And I'd bet an awful lot of money that Todd has strayed a time or two during their marriage. All that time at the oil fields....

Hilary Clinton is no beauty queen, but she's confident, smart, and incredibly accomplished. Her husband is a serial cheater, and I'm sure that smarts, but they're both in that marriage for a reason and have stayed with it. It's not like she's a poor housewife who couldn't make it without him. I don't know the dynamics of their relationship, but I don't really care.

I suppose this comes down to what one values. If I valued above all else the degree to which the general public wanted to sleep with me - well then, maybe I'd prefer to be SP. But
"hotness" is pretty far down my priority list. I'd much prefer to be respected for my intelligence, confidence and lifelong accomplishments. The difference I made in the world (the WORLD - not the Fox news viewership) would be more meaningful to me than the number of boners I inspired or how many books I sold.

I'd rather be HC any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
