Can a child attend 2 different private schools?

When DC started at Beauvoir I asked one of the administrators ( not the head, but close) what were the quality options for after care. I was interested in enrichments as a higher quality after school activity than just regular after care( I had to work and DC would not be picked up until 6pm). I was given a completely professional, honest response that I never forgot and am so grateful for. It was: for Pre-K children we do not advise using a different enrichment each day as a means of child care, this is too much for them at this age, will exhaust them, and 8:30-3ppm is a long day , as is for a 5 year old. Her advice went like an arrow to my heart, but she got my attention. I found my child a nanny that could pick him up each day at 3pm and that was how his days went until maybe 2nd grade. The school could have gotten significant cash out of me at $300 an enrichment course one day a week for 6 weeks only( what is that an extra 10 K a year out of a parent) , but they not only said, no, don't do it. They gave reasons why it would be unhealthy. I greatly respect that and I think the OP is in need of that kind of advice now.

PP, thank you. I am the OP and we have decided not to do both programs.
