| Do you not drink ice tea in front of Mormons? I have friends who don't drink any carbonated drinks, I still enjoy my diet Coke. Now, if my friend were a recovering alcoholic, depending on where she is in her recovery, I might not order a drink but if it's just because they don't drink because of religious reasons, I don't let that stop me. |
| I am Mormon and couldn't care less when people drink around me. It would make me feel akward if I knew someone was passing up something that they enjoyed just for my PERSONAL choice. Most of my Mormon friends feel the same way, so I wouldn't give it another thought. |
Me too. Although if you drank like a fish, that would make me uncomfortable but I wouldn't care if you had a glass of wine - just not 5 at one sitting. |
| If you want it, order it. |

| Yes, I would order a glass of wine. |
| Depends on the day I've had. |
| Old timer religion people are very judgmental and if you drink in front of them they will look at you disapprovingly and perhaps silently or audibly damn you to hell. |
Does he bring the snakes to the table with him? |
| No, I would not consider it. |
I have no such friends. |
| Yes, if I wanted a glass of wine I would order it. I am a vegetarian and I do not expect anyone to not eat meat in front of me. If I had a friend who got upset if I had a glass of wine (or anything else for that matter) because of their religious beliefs we would not be friends for long. |
| My parents don't drink for religious reasons. I wouldn't bring alcohol into their house, but I wouldn't have a problem ordering a drink at a restaurant. |
Those are called Jack Mormons i.e. Mormons who drink |
| I do not drink but have no problems with others drinking in front of me. |
