Foundation recs for someone who hates wearing it?!

Have you tried a BB cream? I have very oily skin and I LOVE them. They are light weight and contain primer, sunscreen, and moisturizer all in one. I currently use this one and I love it, it literally erases all of my imperfections

There is also a page for BB creams

I have tried the smashbox which is really great too.

And I just bought one from here since they are a little cheaper

I hate foundation and have oily skin. I found two that I like: MAC Studio fix Powder plus Foundation ($27, available at Sephora, and dept. stores), and Neutrogena mneral powder foundation (about $14, available at CVS). I use both.

Clinique makes a creamy powder called Citybase when you need a good bit of coverage. It goes on like powder, isn't super oily and I have rather oily skin. I don't use it very often but it does provide good coverage. When I don't need this level of coverage, I use Estee Lauder Daywear Sheer Tint moisturizer followed by powder. It provides just enough glow and color that I don't need foundation.

In the summer months when my oily skin kicks in to high gear, I use Estee Lauder Clear Difference oil control moisturizer followed by the EL Daywear I mentioned and powder. The Clear Difference works very well as an oil control moisturizer. The Daywear is 'self tinting' so you don't have to worry about buying the wrong shade and it's not so heavy that it leaves you oily.

I have oily skin and hate foundation too. I seemed to try them all but none worked for me.

I picked up Ulta Liquid Mineral makeup and it was the best foundation I have ever used. Much better than all the expensive brands.

Alas, it has been discontinued so when I run out I'm going to try Ulta's mineral makeup. The reviewed I read say it is better than Bare Escentuals. If it is anything like their liquid mineral makeup, I'll be happy.

Give it a try - it is relatively inexpensive so you aren't wasting much if it doesn't work out.
