What's the commute like from Vienna to Crystal City?

| GW parkway in that direction might be a good call, 8:27. 29 is doable but can be pretty slow with all the lights and the volume. (29 and 50 get all the cars that can't use 66 with only one driver - I lived between those two roads for 12 years and took one or the other into Rosslyn or DC frequently.) |

Metro is doable.
I recommend Cedar to 29 to Hillwood to Cherry (be care about going exactly 25 in FCC) to 50 will let you avoid the worst tie ups along 50 (Graham/Annandale). You can make it in 45. |

| GW Parkway is a popular route, so it has its moments. Look at alternate routes so you have options when the parkway is full. I don't recommend metro if you have kids in daycare to shuttle around. |
