I thought it was ironic as well. Yes, he should have just walked away, but as a white person, I feel like his repines was an honest one. I kind of wish I had a hose with some cold water in it to blast crtain people that have offended me by yelling bitch out their car at me--or people whose dogs poop on my lawn--I'd really like to spray them.

Well even if it's not hurled directly at you, it's annoying and hurtful when said in your presence to people like you.

If some man yells sexist slurs at a woman in my presence, I'm going to be bothered whether it's directed at me or not.
