How much $ do you spend on kids' friends' birthdays?

We budget $25 for each friend. That includes the wrapping paper/bag, bow and a card.

About $10-$15, unless both kids are invited to the party, when we go up to about $20-$25. For VERY close friends, it's usually between $15 and $25. I try very hard to let the kids pick the gifts, even if it would be cheaper to buy on sale and stock up. I figure they know best whether their friend likes Legos or dolls or coloring.

$10-15. I've gotten very good at finding sales/coupons and stocking up, so sometimes I can do it for even less.

(Michaels/AC Moore are great for Melissa and Doug and Crayola kits, among other things, and they always have 40% off coupons.)

geez. I've been spending too much. However, my kids seem to get some very nice gifts from their preschool buddies so I thought I was the cheap one.
