Given that he most likely got into Yale because he came from a powerful Connecticut family(dad and granddad were Senators) long associated with Yale, I wouldn't assume his Yale degree was a clear sign of intelligence. |
| Who is Kenyan? |
Exactly -- why even get into this? Signed, Conservative Republican |
These are really pretty lame as gaffes go. Really, he pronounced the "p" in corpsman? OMG! He said "intercontinental" instead of "transcontinental" in an off-the-cuff statement. How revealing. |
You do realize both of them went to Harvard, yes? |
| I guess the kenyans are Obamas illegal alien family members living in the uS.. Maybe the idiot is the one arrested recently on drunk driving charges!! |
Is getting in an Ivy on a racial preference any different. Two of my dearest friends are Princeton grads and they readily acknowledge that they were only accepted on racial preference. Is that so very different than political preference. Neither situation is based upon merit alone. |
Someone would really get a bumper sticker about a non-famous person who happens to be related to a politician? Sounds like a very unhealthy obsession to me. |
| I think the OP is an idiot, but what do think the response would be if George Bush were to have had relatives who were illegal aliens while he was in the oval office--even with a dui or welfare fraud? |
Obama's relatives were related to his father who he barely knew. I'm not sure he had even met those relatives. If those facts were also true in Bush's case, I think the reaction would be similar. I'm not sure why the fact that Obama has relatives with whom he is not close living in the US illegally in very meager circumstances is considered a scandal. If Obama were interested in offering his relatives special treatment, they would be here legally and working in cushy jobs arranged by Obama supporters. |
| You have greater faith in objectivity than I do. Let's hope you are right. |
