You just betrayed your ignorance, as usual. ![]() |
Yes, it sounds like the same poster to me. Funny you peg that poster as a lady; I've always pictured a 15-16 year old boy because of the complete lack of social skills and the superiority complex. Either way, a complete asshole. Also, thanks to all the reasonable magnet people who responded here. |
Do not know about CAP, but a school can have more than one "magnet". Poolesville has three (Math/Sc/CS, Ecology & Humanities) and Roberto Clemente has two. |
No, I have a 16 year old boy and he is much more rational and civil than crazy magnet lady. |
? George Hugely VI |
You think George Hugely is crazy magnet lady? It's pretty well established that he did not go to a magnet school. |
I believe George Hugely VI is the beneficiary of rich, wealthy, entitlement D.C. area private schools.
Cheers, from the Magnet Lady fan club The internet, online education and public magnet schools have threatened the dominance private education once commanded to the best college education and the corridors of power and success in America. This change threatens sweat panty clad, Starbuck coffee jugging moms from wealthy zip codes. Their snowflakes are simply no longer the best and the brightest in the land succumbing by every tracked measure or metric (AP scores, SAT, ACT, science, math, computer science, physics, chemistry, writing national awards) to non private students. Of course, this was not always the case in the past. This change remains disruptive to their worldview. The 30,000 to 40,000/year tuition bills no longer guarantee the highest college entrance admission scores, the best secondary school education and entrance to the top colleges and universities. The performance of the area public magnet students, for example, at TJ, TPMS, Blair magnet confirms this unequivocably. In fact, the performance of students from other magnets: Bronx Science, IMSA, Stuves ... further supports this observation. Private education in the D.C. area is increasingly becoming equivalent to belonging to a social club or network rather than the finest education one can purchase for $40,000/year or a secure pathway to the Ivy league. There are increasingly more and better options in the marketplace thanks to technology. Magnet Lady Fan Club |
Actually now I am kind of liking the idea that crazy magnet lady is GH. Might explain why s/he has so much time to post. |
You are the individual with all the time on your hands the rest of us appreciate common sense no matter where it comes from. When at a loss for words it is very easy to whine as you do and throw temper tantrums. Child-like behavior like your that of Mr. Hugely I read about in the papers. To use your familiar refrain ... keep on trolling. |
I'm sure Jeff will confirm how much time you spend posting here. Jeff, please check this out. |
Nope. 11:30 is not the crazy magnet poster. Too logical in thought progression, and not enough unctuous superiority/condescension. |
I beg to disagree. Surely 11:30 equals crazy magnet lady in pomposity. |
I am crazy magnet lady from the beginning of the thread. I didn't post at 11:30 however; I haven't posted since page 1.
Honestly, I don't know what came over me. I don't usually post like that and I never "yell." Just something about posters like OP, who ask questions and then won't answer sincere clarification requests and then complain because they were really hoping to get xyz highly specific response (as if everyone else who bothers to offer a response is an idiot) sent me over the edge. I'm not George Huguely though. I am a magnet parent and there are other magnet parents who just drive me nuts, so that's probably what happened here. Sorry. |
No. You repulse me. I am the real Magnet Lady. |
I wish I could meet the Magnet Lady. She is one of the few posters making the most sense on these boards. It's amazing how just getting posters to reflect on their preconceived notions and anecdotal evidence lacking faith gets under the skin of a few crazies. She is why I took my tot out of a D.C.area private school. This turned out the best decision for us.
