
Members of the media are nearly unanimous in their perception that Obama was not being racist by his comments, but McCain was with his ad. Yet when you poll actual voters, it's the opposite. Why is that? ![]() |
I just explained the reasons why. To my knowledge, no media report about Obama's statement has mentioned the McCain ad showing Obama on a dollar so most people are unaware of the proper context. Moreover, the vast majority of people do not correctly interpret the "dog whistle". Paris and Britney were aimed that that portion of the population that gets the heevy jeevies over the thought of black men doing white women. Thankfully, that is a minority of the population. |
