C'mon. You are basing this on WP piece? The cheater, loser Paper?

You need to move on. Rhee and Fenty has.

And, here ladies and gentlemen is "accountability", Washington, DC style. If you lie us into a useless economically-crippling war, we just say that you made mistakes, but you made them for the right reasons. If you engage in illegal wiretapping, detain people without charges, legitimize torture, we "look forward" and let bygones be bygones. If you cheat on test scores, lie on your resume, and then go on to base your career on your "success", we say it's time to move on. All the time, we talk incessantly about accountability and fire any teacher that doesn't perform to some artificial benchmarks. There is absolutely no reason that we should be cynical.

Nope - you're wrong -- if you had read the article,http://www.washingtonpost.com/local/education/another-dc-principal-trades-classes-for-cupcakes/2011/07/06/gIQAGIaM1H_story.html you would have found this:

"It looks like another D.C. school principal has decided to trade classroom observations and irate parent calls for the cupcake business.

District officials confirmed Wednesday that Noyes Education Campus Principal Adell Cothorne has resigned after one year at the school in Northeast Washington. Officials would not elaborate on the departure."

and this: "Noyes, which serves students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade, has been under scrutiny for elevated rates of answer sheet erasures on city tests during the tenure of Cothorne’s predecessor, Wayne Ryan. He resigned June 17 after a year as an instructional superintendent. Ryan did not respond to requests for an interview.

Well put. I'm far from thrilled with Gray as Mayor, but I continue to be glad that I voted against Fenty.
Agreed. I was mostly angry with Rhee because she was inexperienced and made stupid mistakes but after following the testing scandal I really start to wonder if she did anything good for DCPS. So glad she's gone! And now that we're hearing about how the Peaceaholics (and Fenty friend Ron Moten) blew through a lot of the city's money without accomplishing anything, I don't see why Fenty should be considered so darned competent either.

It should be our right as DC taxpayers to know if our children actually earned the scores purported by the system during Rhee's time!! They should reveal every school and classroom to the students who may have been used as puppets to enhance the lie of Rhee-Form. In fact, she and Henderson and many others should be arrested. At the very least Kaya and whomever else was complicit in this scandal and cover up should be suspended from duty until a full investigation is completed. Maybe we'll actually get a real bona-fide experienced SUPERINTENDENT in front of DCPS!
